Amanda Alef		Amanda Alef was born and raised in Berkeley, California. She has been dancing ballet at the Berkeley Ballet Theatre since the age of five. She has devoted the majority of her time to dance and plans to continue her training in college.

Katherine Brewer		Katherine loves working with children. She's been working at daycares and elementary schools for three years. To expand her resume, she currently works at Vista Community College, and hates it. After high school, she plans to either continue with the biotech program she's in, or attend one of the state colleges around the Bay Area. She's not quite ready to move far away from home yet.
Bonnie Brown		Bonnie was born in San Francisco and has lived in the Bay Area her entire life. In spite of chronic asthma, she has been skating with the SF/Bay Area chapter of the Northern California Speedskating Association for five years.
Chantal Buck		Chantal rules the world, justly, with a sketchbook. She likes to write, does most kinds of visual art, and is currently costuming the Berkeley High fall play. She writes about werewolves like no one else. One day she hopes to direct movies that send the world into roils of joy. She is often hyper, especially after lunch, much to the dismay of her English teacher, and has been caught wearing a cape. She is influenced by Peter S. Beagle, Diana Wynne Jones, D.C. Stone, Kay Ryan, Julie Taymore, Jim Henson, Brad Bird, and Edna Mode.
Celeste Corzan		Hi! My name is Celeste! I am 18 years old and currently live in Oakland with my mother and younger brother. I will hopefully have the economic freedom to be in a cozy college dormroom instead next fall, although I do love my family very much and will miss them greatly. I love to read and write! These are some of my greatest passions. Ever since I was a very young child I have been writing like crazy. I also love reading everything, from poetry and classic works of fiction to seemingly boring non fiction like psychology and sociology and history and what not. Some fun and unique facts about me include that I am vegan, wiccan, play guitar...and other things as well. Anyway, I hope you'll look for my stuff in bookstores someday, as hopefully it will be there, and hopefully you will enjoy it! Thanks for reading my Bio!

Kelsey Kleine		Kelsey enjoys writing short stories and hearing other people read their short stories aloud. She loves to sing and would have written a musical score for her short story, if time had allowed. She would like to take a moment to sing a little ditty: "I'm through accepting limits 'Cuz someone says they're so Some things I cannot change But till I try, I'll never know! Too long I've been afraid of Losing love I guess I've lost Well, if that's love It comes at much too high a cost! I'd sooner buy Defying gravity Kiss me goodbye I'm defying gravity And you can't pull me down" anyway...Kelsey is enjoying this class a whole bunch, and can't wait to write a detective story with Cara Wagner...
Dior Lowthorn		Dior is a 12th grader at BHS. His hobbies include playing basketball, going to the 200, and exercising. His favorite subject is this Reading and Writing the Short Story Class where he can put his ever-so adventurous, chaotic thoughts on paper. He hopes his experience suits you well. So grab yourself some popcorn and soda, and back, relax, and enjoy the show.
Corinthia McCoy		Corinthia enjoys dancing, reading, and listening to music. She is currently looking into the music industry to gain knowledge in that area. Corinthia lives in Berkeley, California with her mom. She plans to attend a four-year black, historical college or an art college in the fall of 2005.
Bina Morris		Bina loves to dance, listen to music, and write about true life experiences, such as the ones in her memoir. She likes pink, and being Italian...which she is very proud of. Writing is something she likes to do to release stress, and to help her gain a better understanding of herself.
Sam Owens		Sam is currently living in Berkeley with his parents and sister. He intends to go to the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts of Allan Hancock. His interests include writing, drawing, set construction, and theaterwork.
Caitlin Perlman		Caitlin lives in Berkeley and always had except for one awful year spent in Connecticut during her sophomore year. She will be going off to college--which college is not known. Bina is her very good friend. Wow.
Joelle Provost		Although she looks a bit goofy, she takes her writing very seriously. Not even. She likes to take longs walks with her dog and she has to eat almost every hour. She's graduating from high school, and then, the world will be her oyster.ujj
Marc Pujol		Marc is seventeen years old. He lives in North Berkeley and goes to Berkeley High School. He enjoys constructing models of buildings and aircraft, and he hopes to major in mechanical or structural engineering in college.
Scott Rasmussen		Scott is a senior at Berkeley High. This will be his first piece of published work ever. He generally only writes in his journal just before going to bed and rarely shares his work with others so this business of writing online for all to read is very new and different for him. Although he is hesitant to publicly share writing, in his heart of hearts Scott is a storyteller, with great respect for those who can vocalize and dramatize any tale. More than anything he hopes to learn the art of storytelling, so come ye both old and young tall and short, come hover over the warm glow of your screen and listen to a tale.
Sam Raven		Sam, a Berkeley High senior and bass player for the Atomic Fist, has written numerous stories though none were ever any good. The structure of this class has helped greatly with the quality of his work

Alphonso Thomas		E-pheezy... PHoNsOReZziE is know for his incredible athletic ability and creativity. 17 years old born & raised in Berkeley, Ca. He played BHS Football, BHS Wrestling, BHS Track & Field, and King's Gym Boxing in all for years at Berkeley high. Crazy but Calm at times Alphonso is a great person to be wit, enjoy his beliefs and thoughts...
Julia Voorhees		Julia Voorhees is a 17 year old senior from Berkeley High. Julia has always enjoyed writing, while she seldom does for anyone else. Starting from a very early age she has always written imaginative stories the world will never read, always destroying them so no individual could ever read them. Julia lives with her Mom, Dad, and brother in North Berkeley, along with their cat Spooky, a bird, and her pet python Abby. Along with writing Julia loves to read, swim, draw, and snowboard. Clara Williams		Clara Williams is an 18-year-old who loves to lose herself in her own little world. She loves to cuddle with her cat, Buttons, while writing in her dairy. She attempts to live with her "dysfunctional" family, but prefers friends.

Monica Wong		Monica can't wait to graduate from high school. It seems as if she has been waiting all her life, which is partially true. In a nut shell, she's pretty reserved and very down to Earth.
